Well well. You thought this blog was dead? It would have probably stayed dead, if not for a certain special someone who inspired me to revive this... =)
Anyway, apparently the hottest thing in town has to be the IOC in Singapore, coming to decide which city would host the 2012 Olympiad. Honestly though, the average Joe doesn't really care where it's held. I'm one of them, and I'm willing to bet the greater majority of the people reading this are part of the apathetic crowd. But look at the whole issue from a different standpoint - havn't the Games been overshadowed by all the internal/international politiking? Not only that, it's been widely viewed that which ever country/city hosts the Games, fame and fortune will likely follow. It's just another tourism tool. Well, isn't that something now.
